5 Fun Ways to Have an Eco Friendly Easter

5 Ways to have an Eco Friendly Easter
Rabbit Ears made with towels

I can't believe it's already Easter! Where is this year going? I am confused. But nethertheless I am here for all things sustainable Easter addition. We did Christmas (read here) now it's Easter's turn! I've done some research so that you can make this holiday of chocolate as sustainable as possible.

Number 1For the Chocoholics

Choose your chocolate wisely! I can't resist a creme egg, they are my weakness at Easter. But when buying your Easter eggs this year consider staying local, pick up some lovely chocolate in your local farm shop it'll most likely be organic and be packaged in some lovely recycable wrapping meaning it's going to have a lesser impact on the environment.

Shoping local is a beautiful thing to do and should definietly be encouraged. There are so many great vegan alternatives for chocolate eggs out there, this one isn't a nessecity just an idea. Chocolate is a hard one to change, I get it. You don't have to tell me!

Number 2Easter Egg Hunt

Try real eggs instead of plastic ones for an easter egg hunt. We all love a classic Easter egg hunt, it's all part of the fun. This year aviod using any plastic eggs, that will be damaging to the environment.

Use real eggs and decorate them or maybe stick to the classic chocolate eggs! Decorating real eggs can be a fun activity, especially if you've got kids this something to occupy them with. (Might be a bit messy but that's all part of the fun!).

Number 3Go Plastic Free

Give up single use plastics for lent this year and maybe try something new! Instead of ditching the choccy, give up those pesky single use plastics that we all know aren't they best for the planet. It's a great way to challenge yourself and it could be the start of a new habit!

We are all about the environment here at Fosse and being plastic free is a massive priorty for us. All our  are wrapped in recycable packaging from the tissue paper lining, to the brown tape to secure the wax melts. If your looking for plastic free wax melts, you're in the right place...

Number 4Easter Decorations

Make your own Easter decorations. Creating lovely paper chains, to using empty toilet rolls for chick and bunny "ornaments". Also, make your own Easter garlands, spice up your home this Easter and make it extra special - we all deserve it!
